In an effort to keep from flat out lying to make myself seem more interesting, I'll stick to the basics in this bio so neither you the reader, or myself fall asleep before it's over.

I was born in Spokane back in the late 50's and grew up in Olympia and Tumwater through the 60's, 70's and 80's listening to, and loving the music that at that time I never dreamed I'd actually make a living playing for our listeners here at KZOK.

I got started in radio in 1985 at another station that both our own 'Stacy Ireland' and I have in common in our careers, KQEU/KQ-92 in Olympia. In 1991 I went to what was then Q-105 in Portland, Oregon for just over a year. Then in late 1992 I found myself here in Seattle doing some part-time work at our sister station KMPS.

1998 was a stellar year for me because that's when I got my crack at KZOK.(Thanks Boss!) In the years before getting into this business and since, especially after coming on here at KZOK, I never thought I would actually get the chance to work with, and around radio wizards like Gary Crow, Bob Rivers and crew, Steve Slaton, Robin & Maynard, Beau Roberts, Vick the Dude, Stacy Ireland and so many more in front of, and behind the mic.
