I got into radio because no one on the radio looks like they sound. Therefore, I don’t fit my description.

My favorite bands are The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Frank Zappa.

KZOK is the best classic rock station ever, with the best talent ever. Bob, Spike, Joe, Steve Slaton and Gary Crow, I grew up listening to these people. They are the real reason that I got into radio. And to work with them, and have them as my friends is a dream come true.

I’ve been in radio nearly twenty years, and have been at KZOK since 1991, one of the strangest things that happened to me was during a remote broadcast. I had awarded a prize to a Marilyn Monroe look-alike. A nights stay at a swanky hotel. She looked at me and said… “A Whole Night…The Escort Service Only Let’s Me Stay An Hour!” That’s when I noticed her adam’s apple.
