 Hi you guys!
You really want to know about me? Here goes: I listen to the Bob Rivers show on KZOK on my way into work in the morning and to the Noon Diner (when I can take my lunch hour on time), and of course, Breakfast with the Beattles on Sunday mornings (I am a fanatic Beattles fan!).
I grew up in the Central Area of Seattle in the 60s and 70s. As a kid was into the Motown sound, and didn’t discover rock until high school. I have been married for almost 27 years to a wonderful man and raised two great kids ages 23 and 25. My husband and I feel very fortunate to own a home in the Kirkland area, even though we work hard to pay for it. For relaxation I love to go hiking in the mountains every weekend.
Hiking is my passion. I have hiked all the local trails and my dream vacation would be centered around hiking. The best gift anyone could give me would be to take me hiking. One time my kids took me up Bare Mt., just north of Northbend, on Mother’s day. Good times! We went snow shoeing in the Enchantments, near Leavenworth just a few weeks ago. Awesome!
My favorite Sunday morning thing to do is to hike up Mt. Si from 8 to 10 a.m. with Breakfast with the Beattles in my ears. I am always impressed with Steve Slaton’s expertise. I love that I learn something new about the Beattles every week.
