Chris Adkins from Port Orchard

Hey KZOK, my name is Chris Adkins and I'm from Port Orchard.
I'm 19 years old and currently a freshman at Washington State University and I have been listening to KZOK since I could remember. Since I'm living on the east side right now, I listen to you guys on the internet. I have a lot of KZOK memories, but my favorite was when my dad would drive me to daycare back when I was younger and the whole trip he would play KZOK. I grew up listening to Gary crow and of course Crazy Mama (Stacy Ireland). Classic rock is my life! My dad got me into vinyl and now I have a pretty huge collection and I also have a tattoo of a record player on my shoulder.
My favorite memory about KZOK is back when I was a kid and listening with my dad, I never really paid attention to the words so much, I just liked the guitar solos and booming drums. but as I grew older, I realized that I knew the words to just about every song you guys played, which was amazing to me because I never thought I would. Now, the lyrics are the first thing I hear and take in, and I have come to see how powerful music is and how a song can say everything you need to say in just 4 minutes.
KZOK is what I love about music and one of the things that makes me want to live and work in Seattle when I graduate from WSU... and I just want to say !#&@ Jack FM. Radio should be done by people, not some dumb computer. Your DJ's are what makes radio worth listening to and it will be a cold day in hell when I stop listening to you guys. Keep up the good work and tell Crazy Mama that I love her.
