Flea of The Red Hot Chili Peppers On Addiction

In a recent Time article, Flea, bassist for The Red Hot Chili Peppers discusses his struggle with addiction and how easy it is to turn to substance for pain relief emotionally. He discloses some personal problems with addiction and that he learned it was better to be grateful for his pain rather than numb it out. He talks about how easy it is for any average joe to get hooked especially with the opioid crisis and doctor's willingness to prescribe pain pills.
